Friday's festivities will be casual. Enjoy southern eats with us on the Kiawah River and watch the sunset in your favorite smart casual or island garb! For Saturday's ceremony and reception, we would love to see everyone in their tuxedo or cocktail dress. If a tuxedo is not feasible, please wear a matching dark colored suit.

October on Kiawah brings moderate temperatures perfect for enjoying all the island’s outdoor activities! This time of year, expect temperatures to be in the mid 70s during the day and crisp 50s during the evening.

Round trip transportation will be provided for the wedding evening. You can find the detailed pickup locations and times for this closer to the wedding day. Those staying at Kiawah Island Golf Resort rentals have complimentary access to the island’s shuttles which can be taken to Mingo Point for the Welcome Party.

Children are invited to attend the Welcome Party on Friday and we would love to see them. The wedding on Saturday is limited to adults. The island keeps a reputable and up to date babysitter list if you are interested in traveling with your children and arranging childcare for them the night of the wedding.
